1983 Gmc Engine - Engine 6
In 1983, this unit was purchased new and replaced the international Engine (No Picture available at this time). It had a 750 gallon water tank and a 1000 gallon per minute pump. It was in service until 1999 when it was sold to Jons Mid America and distributed to another department in the midwest.
1969 Ford Tanker - Tanker 11
This unit was purchased as a used oil tanker. Some baffles were added and a dump and fill valves installed and a water tender was born. It was used as a primary water tender from the mid 1970's until 1992 when it was replaced with the current water tender we have today. It held 2000 Gallons of water, had a small pump mounted on the side for emergency filling or supplemental filling and a 2000 gallon drop tank.
1964 Brockway - Engine 7
in 1964, the department purchased this engine new. It had a 1000 gallon water tank and a 1000 GPM pump. It was replaced in 1989 with a new apparatus. This apparatus served the township and area well for many years and was a great addition to a department in Michigan the last we were aware.
1989 Pierce Lance 75 Ft Aerial - Ladder 14
In 2001, the department purchased a used ladder from Paoli Fire Department. This ladder replaced the 1972 International Ladder Truck. It had 500 Gallons of water, a 1500 Gallon per minute pump and a pre-piped waterway. More of a quint, this unit had a 10 man cab and was functional as an engine or an aerial device however, it was mostly used as an aerial.
